Secretarial Support Community Clinicians and Early Supported Discharge (ESD), Nelson Hospital, Fixed Term 12 months As the Community Clinician & ESD Secretary, you will be based at the Richmond Health Hub working in a positive and proactive environment, supporting the Geriatrician, Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialists & ESD Team on a daily basis in the community setting. You will assist with secretarial tasks, ACC contract administration and general office administration. About the Role As a Secretarial Support, you will be involved in booking of clinics, writing of letters post clinics, and ensuring data for reporting use is maintained. Specifically, the key functionalities of this position involve: Loading of referrals into SIPICS and all SIPICs processes that secretaries complete, Proactive booking of outpatient clinics, Retrospective bookings of domacillary clinics and home visits, Administrative support for service and post clinics, letters etc, Data inputting for MOH reporting requirements, Contract management for ACC funding purposes, General phone enquiries, Minutes for service meetings.

This is a fixed term role for 12 months working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00AM and 5.

30PM. This role is unique to the other administrative roles as youll report into the ambulatory care service rather than to the Team Leads . Youll support the roles of the CNS respiratory, CNS neurology Health of Older People, Community Geriatrician, and Nurse Practitioner Health of Older People About the Team/Service/ Location Our team consists of a Coordinator, an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Nurse and 4 Kaiawhina / Health Care Assistants.

ESD is a specialist rehabilitation service that supports earlier discharge of ACC funded patients from hospital to complete their rehabilitation in their own home. The team will expand as new roles and models of care are implemented in the community in advance of the new build for Nelson Hospital.
